Tell us a bit about RW Wolf?

R.W Wolf

RW Wolf is a barbering brand which represents the past, the present and the future - all at once. The past because our 150-year haircutting heritage is reflected in our character and expertise; the present because we dominate every where we go thanks to our unrivalled service offering and attention to detail; the future because we're always on-trend, keeping up with fashion and looking to take over new territories - a Wolf is always hungry.

What were you looking to achieve with your salon/barbershop design, and what makes it different?

R.W Wolf

We wanted to illustrate the Wolf's passion and power through our brand and in the barbering business. That's why the salon oozes class with little touches of artistic flair that evoke emotions and make the space more attractive. From the artwork to the use of lighting and space, gentlemen come in to relax and feel at ease before they even think about getting a haircut.

How did you approach your project?

R.W Wolf

We approached the project like an experienced Wolf would - with commitment to our character, confidence and a sharp eye for detail. We wanted our salon to stand out from the crowd, inspire customers and our team, and make a clear statement that our services are just as good as the salon looks.

How has it achieved what you set out to do?

R.W Wolf

After a successful launch, we hit the ground running and have never looked back. We receive as many compliments about the space as we do about the services so, based on this feedback, we have achieved what we set out to do. We wanted to make sure the interior and services combined to give clients a complete barbering experience like no other, and that's exactly how our customers feel.

How important was furniture/equipment and why did you choose Takara Belmont and, in particular, the Legacy95 chair?

R.W Wolf

Furniture and equipment are paramount in our salons. It's our pledge to our customers that they'll feel comfortable and at ease so choosing Takara Belmont, and in particular the Legacy95 chair, was a no-brainer. We knew Takara Belmont was the only brand that could meet our high expectations of quality and service and we had the flexibility to colour-coordinate to blend with our salon design.

What has the reaction of staff and customers been?

R.W Wolf

The staff feel extremely proud to work here and excited to be part of brand with such ambition. Our customers look forward to the time they get to spend in our salons - it's a retreat and they value each visit.

What advice would you give to salons/barbershops looking to open or upgrade?

R.W Wolf

Hit upon a path that makes you stand out. Don't just be a barber or open a barber shop, make it count for something. Make your salon a place that you, your team and your customers can be proud. Make good decisions, seek advice and help and, above all, don't compromise. Quality speaks for itself and, in the end, your customers will reward you for your investment in them with their long term custom and loyalty. Why would they want to be anywhere else?
