Kevin comments: “I had the idea to build a unique space fashioned around customer experiences and hospitality. This meant every detail needed to be carefully curated to deliver a genuinely premium experience. Everything the customer sees and touches – from door handles to the chairs – was super important. We did a lot of research and found the space we wanted to create didn’t exist anywhere else. The Badgers Den is everything the old-school barbershop isn’t; a place that actually understands modern masculinity. A place where you can take care of yourself, feel better walking out than you did walking in, and enjoy the experience while you’re at it.”

Serving up the best-of-the best 

With a range of ‘top tier’ barbering services, a haircut is never just a haircut at The Den – it’s your time to reset, recharge and immerse yourself in the expertise of ‘Den artists’. With facials, deep tissue massages, foot treatments, skin care and nail care complementing traditional services such as shaves, beard care and eyebrow grooming, The Den has also introduced a partnership with Hyperice. Kevin comments: “These advanced treatments use leading-edge recovery tech to release tension, improve circulation, and reset your body. Whether it’s tight legs, stiff hips, or a back that’s been feeling it, this is where you can sort it out.”

The Legend grooming chair – there’s no equipment quite like it

As a crucial detail in The Badgers Den experience, Kevin’s research led him to Takara Belmont and, in particular, the Legend motorised grooming chair. Kevin comments on how and why he arrived at this decision. “Chairs are a key part of our client experience, so there was no room for compromise. We did a lot of research and found that there was nothing in the market that came close to the premium quality and functionality of Takara Belmont and the Legend chair. They were the only brand and chairs we could find that had the design, stability, comfort, motorisation and premium feel that our clients deserve. 

“Often, when you discover a premium brand, you can find something of comparable quality for less but, honestly, we couldn’t. Takara Belmont stood head and shoulders above anything else we could find. They are the only brand of this quality out there and when only the best is good enough, choosing the Legend was a no-brainer. Our team and, importantly, the clients all comment on how comfortable and slick they are with the motorised chair movements. We are literally blown away by the quality!”
